Catherine Creese

Catherine has over 20 years’ experience in the undersea cable industry. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, she began her career with ATT SSI in 1995 and continued with Tyco Telecommunications until 2006, working on route engineering, permitting, marine liaison, and sales. She also served as an International Cable Protection Committee Executive Committee member and a North American Submarine Cable Association representative for several years.

Catherine is now the Director of the US Naval Seafloor Cable Protection Office and focuses on working with the submarine cable industry and other seabed users. She has degrees from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Stevens Institute of Technology, and American University.
