F. Barry Brown

Dr. F. Barry Brown is Professor Emeritus and former Head of the Departments of Curriculum Studies and Educational Communications and Technology in the College of Education, University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada. He is an instructor and consultant in organization and administration of electronic learning spaces, television production, educational technology, communications, tele-health, distance learning, computers, educational telecommunications, and instructional development. Dr. Brown was an administrator and teacher at the University from 1964 until retirement in 2007. 

Dr. Brown is a long time pilot and glider pilot instructor and maintains a strong interest in aviation. Barry Brown began beekeeping as a hobby in 1973 with two hives. After retirement he scaled up to a commercial level operation. His farm is located on the North Saskatchewan River. He currently is operating about 1000 beehives situated near Langham and Borden. Barry continues to teach photography, beekeeping and does numerous presentations and demonstrations locally and nationally.
