President & CEO, NTT Communications
Tetsuya Shoji is President and CEO of NTT Communications, one of the world’s largest telecommunications carriers and an ICT service provider.
Before becoming President and CEO, he was a Senior Executive Vice President responsible for group sales and corporate management of NTT Communications from 2012. Prior to this, he was with NTT Corporation, the parent company of NTT Communications, where he served as Senior Vice President, Director of the General Affairs Department and Director of the Internal Control Office from 2009. Among other things, he established the NTT Deutschland GmbH soon after the fall of the Berlin wall in 1991. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo and master’s degree in Business Administration from New York University in the United States.
