Abstract

There’s never been a more exciting – and challenging – time be a technology leader. In this digital era, all organizations seek to anticipate risk, accelerate business cycles, manage volatility, and embrace the power and potential of emerging technologies. And in today’s more connected and collaborative world, data is fast becoming the new currency. Businesses need to know what data they have, and where it is, to innovate and create value.

Michelle Finneran Dennedy, VP and chief privacy officer at Cisco and co-author of The Privacy Engineer’s Manifesto, and a worldwide leader in data privacy, will discuss innovative approaches to delivering business value through data protection and privacy, how privacy is taking center stage in security discussions today, and how to stay abreast of upcoming changes.
