Associate Professor, Technical Communications, and Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California
Dr. Elizabeth Fife is faculty in the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California. She has published and carried out applied and academic research of international telecommunications markets, mobile user behavior, and ICT4D over the past 20 years. Teaching areas include technical and scientific communications for academics and industry professionals, multi-disciplinary and international technical communications and research methodology. In addition, Elizabeth has developed specialized modules and workshops for companies in the ICT industry as well as for students in Korea, China, and Japan.
Elizabeth is the Co-chair of the PTC Research Committee and Chair of the PTC Special Interest Group on Development – the ICT4D Group. She is editor of the PTC's Annual Report on Broadband, a series of comprehensive studies on the development of telecom markets in Southeast Asia, including Fiji, Myanmar, Indonesia and the Philippines.
She received her Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.
