David Morris is an attorney in the Honolulu office of the law firm of Yamamoto Caliboso LLLC representing clients in the communications and energy industries, including communications service providers and independent power producers. His practice includes advocating for agency approvals and advising on regulatory compliance, transactions, and public policy initiatives.

David spent over a decade in engineering, operations, and marketing roles in the communications and technology sector, most recently as a product manager with Hawaii’s ILEC. He has worked with federal, state, and local government entities, service providers, and businesses in healthcare, finance, and hospitality. This experience includes cybersecurity assessment, monitoring, and incident response; network and security design, implementation, and management; and submarine cable landing party services. David earned his J.D, from the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law, and his BSBA in Computer Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University. David is also a U.S. Navy veteran.
