Principal Network Architect, LinkedIn
Shawn Zandi is a principal network architect with LinkedIn. He is the product owner of the Falco and OpenFabric projects at LinkedIn, and is a board member on the OpenSwitch project steering committee.
For the past 18 years, He has worked as network and security expert for consulting firms from Dubai to Silicon Valley, designing networks for universities, hospitals, airports, most luxurious hotels, plain old dial-up service providers and mega scale data centers.
Shawn's job at LinkedIn is to economically grow and scale data center and backbone network with correct architecture, long term strategy and well-defined roadmaps in place. He is leading LinkedIn next-generation datacenter and infrastructure architecture projects as well as many engineering and research working groups. He holds over 50 industry certifications.
