Vice President, Optus Satellite
Paul has been with Optus for over 20 years and was appointed as Vice President, Optus Satellite in April 2009 where he is responsible for leading the Optus Satellite team. Under his leadership the Optus satellite network has increased on-orbit capacity by over 30% and continues to provide innovative solutions particularly to the regional rural and remote areas of Australia and New Zealand.
Paul has more than 30 years’ experience in the Satellite industry. He began his career at Mitsubishi Electrical Australia, where he was involved in the development of the Australian Satellite Network (Aussat), which is now the Optus Satellite network.
Paul is passionate about using satellite technology to make a difference to people’s lives and to developing opportunities for young Australian’s to ensure a strong future for the Australian satellite and space industries.
