Abstract

Disaster Recovery programs are essential for every business regardless of size, industry sector or geographic location. The cost of downtime for medium-sized companies can exceed $216,000 per hour; for large enterprises, expenses can climb to $686,000 per hour (Source: Aberdeen Group). Mr. Brody can speak to the various types of cyber- and Ransomware attacks, citing specific impacts on various businesses and verticals.

The frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks grows each day, but their impact on businesses varies depending on company’s network connectivity. Mr. Brody can provide insight into how networks are evolving to deliver these types of services faster and automatically. Effective Ransomware and Disaster Recovery solutions are less about data replication and more about network agility and automation so that failover is seamless, requiring little to no manual intervention.

In addition to accessing these Disaster and Ransomware Recovery services in provider data centers, businesses are also leveraging cloud networking platforms and network fabrics. Through private and secure interconnections, customers can access managed, critical recovery services delivered securely, privately, and with the lowest latency as well as no additional data transfer fees. These services are completely air- gapped from the public internet and offer full end-to- end data encryption as well as no data transfer fees. Providers are also benefitting from the ability to extend recovery services nation- and even worldwide via multiple network fabrics.
